Limited range FM  broadcasting eliminates the need for loud speakers or wired earphones.  Inmates select and listen to the channel of their choice, SILENTLY,  on  personal FM radios with an earphone. Ambient noise levels can be greatly reduced in day rooms, pods, housing units, libraries and recreation areas. Excellent for multiple programming such as music, books on tape, educational classes or several TV's. Several units may be operated in the area without interference.

Your line level audio source is transmitted on any one of 100 FM channels. Easy connection to tape and CD/DVD players, VCR's, TV's, radios and PA systems.  On-board audio transformer provides floating ground isolation if required. FM channels are digitally selected and synthesized for no-drift operation. Rotary switches are used for channel selection. Your pre-set channel is automatically restored on power-up, temporary loss of frequency lock, or after a power outage.

The ACC100 circuit card is identical to the FMX-W except that its broadcast range has been reduced to 200 feet or less to comply with FCC regulations.  A balanced audio input is also available if your audio source requires isolation.

Use your own 12 Vdc power supply, our T2 wall adapter supply, or your TV's 12 Vdc power supply. We recommend connecting this device with our 2.1mm power plug and cable if using your TV's power supply. Power cables are sold separately.

FMX-E:Available to Federal Facilities Only
An FMX-W or  FMX-A  circuit card installed in a white metal enclosure like the ACC100 becomes an FMX-EW or FMX-EA. RCA cable and power supply sold separately.
